One man is feeling the heat from plenty of Reddit users after he put forward a scenario that didn’t leave many amused.
The man began by mentioning how he had entered a cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee and get some work done. To his surprise, the eatery was packed with very few empty seats left.
In the end, he found a table with a mother seated across from him. She had a hungry child and for that reason, she opted to begin nursing the infant in front of him.
That action didn’t go down too well with the man who felt super uncomfortable.
“All I wanted to do was spend some quality time with myself and I enjoy my coffee. But then this woman comes up and starts to uncover one of her breasts and begins nursing her child. I know I wasn’t supposed to look but the entire ordeal made me feel so uncomfortable,” the man explained.
For that reason, he couldn’t help himself and requested the mother to shift to another table nearby.
Clearly, the mother was taken aback and was certainly not expecting anyone to give her commands, especially considering the fact that she had a hungry infant with her.
In the end, the mother refused to listen or get up and on that note, the man had no choice but to quickly gulp down his coffee, finish his work, and leave.
However, when he was making an exit, there were plenty of people who gave him some pretty nasty stares. And for that reason, he felt like an absolute douche and wondered if he was really at fault.
For that reason, he opted to share the story on Reddit where many did not agree with his decision of asking the woman to leave.
As a whole, the majority felt that breastfeeding was absolutely normal, and if he was the one with the problem, he should have made the effort to leave, instead of forcing a mother with a child to get up. What do you think?
