One couple is revealing their absolute shock and disgust at a hospital after suffering a miscarriage.
The heartbroken and devastated couple revealed how they were left with no other choice but to store their dead baby’s remains in the fridge because the hospital that was dealing with their case said they didn’t have any space left to store it.
“They just told us that they had no room. We had just suffered from a miscarriage but that didn’t seem to matter to them”- the stressed and sad couple explained.
Both Laura and her partner Lawrence added how they had just been through hell and back after Laura suffered from intense episodes of bleeding due to the miscarriage. And then to hear news like this was just the icing on the cake for them as they were shattered beyond words could explain.
“I was four months into my pregnancy. The staff at the hospital told me I was doing well and so was my baby. That was a relief but soon afterward, they changed the story. My baby no longer had any heartbeat. We were devastated as this is the worst news any person could ever give parents expecting for the first time”- the couple cried.
The couple had reportedly gone to the teaching hospital called Lewisham’s A&E division. And after the misery of the miscarriage, the couple revealed how they were told there was absolutely no room to keep the dead baby’s remains. Hence, the hospital said their only choice was to take the remains home with them.
At the moment, the hospital is undergoing a thorough investigation that has been ordered after the couple’s story went viral. Just the thought of taking a dead baby’s remains inside a Tupperware box has infuriated so many people and the couple is no exception.
