Terrifying reports are coming in from Florida where a 10-year-old student was seen being escorted by the police in handcuffs after threatening a mass school shooting at his elementary school.
According to local media reports, the suspect was identified as Daniel Marquez who was accused of sending suspicious and alarming text messages where he reportedly threatened to carry out a mass shooting at his own school in Florida.
Sources added how the detectives did not hesitate for one second after they received the alarming report as police officers rushed to the school to investigate and arrest the student.
The cops claim the ten-year-old student has been charged for writing out a written threat to carry out a mass shooting at his Elementary School.
The news comes just days after the horrifying Texas Elementary school massacre that took away the lives of 19 students and two teachers.
Following the alarming incident, parents of students in the school where the suspect was arrested have raised concerns about the situation. And that’s when the county sheriff was seen appearing for a press conference, reassuring the parents that everything was under control and they were busy investigating the incident, while the suspect remained in their custody.
“All of the kids are safe at school”- mentioned the county sheriff.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office labeled Marquez as a fifth-grader at the Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral, Florida.
Authorities have gone on to mention how the student was first taken in for interrogation and after being questioned on the matter, he was later charged for sending out a threat in written form to carry out a mass shooting at his elementary school.
The Sheriff added how he felt the student’s behavior was beyond sickening, especially considering the fact that it came right after the massacre in Uvalde in Texas.
