This man from Australia is making history as the first dad to ever give birth to a baby boy.
Shaun Resnik who hails from Victoria says having a child of his own was one of his biggest wishes. However, he was always so skeptical about whether or not he would ever be getting the opportunity as he was gay.
But miracles are possible and he never gave up trying, and that’s why he is now living his dream full throttle.
The first time that he laid eyes on his child was when he realized that dreams come true as he held little Eli Michael on March 22.
This has not been an easy journey for this dad who says that he initially began trying to have a child around three years ago. But being the first single man to ever have a child is just beyond overwhelming for him and it’s all thanks to the power of surrogacy, he adds.
“For me, it’s just pure joy, bliss, and a huge surprise. Let’s not forget how this is such a major relief for me”- he went on to continue.

He has been the subject of plenty of struggles and troubles and each one of them is beyond overwhelming for him. From being told that he can’t to losing hope on numerous occasions, this single dad says that it’s nothing less than an emotional roller coaster.
For him, adoption was never an option and that’s why he moved ahead with this. And thanks to one woman who opted to be his child carrier, he says that it would never have been possible without her.
“Her generosity is something that I cannot repay. She’s a great woman and because of her, I am able to hold my own bundle of joy”- the dad concluded.
