A mother is expressing her utter shock and disbelief after finding her son’s remains inside a pond, right after she chose to drain it.
According to local media outlets, the child was murdered around seven years ago but it always remained a mystery to the authorities regarding where exactly his remains were because they were never able to track them down.
For years, the loved ones wanted the investigators to drain the pond in the nearby vicinity but it just never happened. And that’s when seven years later, the couple opted to do the deed and found the dead remains of their murdered son inside.
“The police department did drain it, but not all the way. They stated that nothing was located inside so they chose to drain it halfway and left it”- the mother continued. But to her shock, today the son’s remains were finally located, giving the family closure after seven long and daunting years.
The couple revealed how the mystery of not knowing where their son was just haunting them for years. They are extremely upset with the authorities for making all sorts of excuses and not draining the pond, leaving them in search of a loved one for years.
“They blamed the weather or other crimes taking place and just wouldn’t do the task. We always had a fear that we might stumble across his remains, and we were right”- the grieving loved ones explained.
The mother explained how the cops did reveal how her son’s body was dumped in a pond nearby but despite having this much information, they never got down to the bottom of the mystery.
They ignored it and now, seeing her son’s femur and pelvic bones being found and identified by forensic experts is just awfully heartbreaking for her and all of her loved ones.
Last week, the mother felt enough was enough and it was finally time to drain the pond herself. Hence, she and her husband bought a giant suction pump to see what mystery lay below. And their guess was absolutely correct. Bones belonging to her son were found, leaving the family in more shock and fury at the authorities and their carelessness.
