Fans of Olivia Newton-John’s recently received a surprise that no one saw coming.
They were treated to a new record by the star that was reportedly made during the celeb’s final moments before her death. And now that it is all set for release, people are loving the wonderful surprise that they’ll cherish for a lifetime.
It was only yesterday that we heard Olivia’s daughter go public and break her silence for the first time since her mother’s death. She shed light on what her mother’s final words were.
In the same way, she was seen thanking all of her fans and followers for going that extra mile and making sure that she was alright. “You all are my extended family and for that, I’ll always be grateful!”- she further concluded.
Olivia Newton-John passed away at the age of 73 last year in August when she was spending time at her family ranch. She was reportedly suffering from breast cancer.
Her daughter mentioned that her mother smiled and embraced her during the final moments of her life. She said, ‘my sunshine’ and those words will always remain in her heart forever.
As far as the new record is concerned, it’s a collaboration between the late singer and country icon Dolly Parton. It is the last song that the famed star ever recorded.
And the timing of the release is just one week before the star performer was honored with a state funeral.
The collaboration is a duet of Dolly Parton’s hit Jolene that was sung during an intimate recording session at the studio where both leading ladies were present, before the star’s death.
