The final hours of Ivana Trump before she was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in her home in New York has been revealed.

The ex-wife of former President Donald Trump was reportedly in good spirits when she dined at her favorite New York restaurant only hours before she died at the age of 73.

Paola Alavian, the owner of Italian restaurant Atlesi’s, said Ivana had dined with him the day before she passed away.

According to reports, Ivana appeared to be in good spirits “but looked maybe a little bit tired” when she ordered a “very, very small amount of food,” Alavian said.

Atilla Cetin, a manager at Nello near Ivana’s home, said the 73-year-old seemed to be in good shape during her most recent visit weeks ago.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Cetin couldn’t contain his tears as he said that Ivana looked ‘terrific’ and ‘appeared in good spirits’ the last time they had seen each other.

On Thursday, the former model was found at the bottom of the staircase by a female member of staff arriving for work.

Police were called to the house to reports of someone having a cardiac arrest before the businesswoman was pronounced dead.

A source close to the family said that Ivana’s health had been deteriorating for some time.

Ivana was known as the first wife of Donald Trump. They tied the knot in 1977 when he was a business mogul and a real estate heir.

They divorced in 1992 after she found out that he was having an affair with Marla Maples, who became his second wife.

Ivana is mother of Donald’s three eldest children, Eric, Ivanka, and Donald Jr.
