Terrifying reports are coming in from Dallas’ Love Field Airport where a female shooter has reportedly opened fire on passengers located in the baggage area.
According to reports from local media outlets, the 37-year-old shooter was seen firing a round of bullets in the air, creating a scene of absolute chaos and panic amid passengers in her vicinity.
The incident is believed to have taken place this morning when terrified passengers were seen ducking beneath chairs, moments after the chaos struck.
Meanwhile, one cop was also seen rushing toward the female gunman and pushing her to the corner, injuring her so she could no longer fire her weapon.
The timely action of the officer is believed to have saved so many lives. On the other hand, reports revealed that the gunman was rushed to the Parkland Memorial Hospital in an injured state, where she is currently undergoing treatment amid police custody.
Recent confirmations from police officers were made that outlined how there was only one person injured in the terrifying tragedy and that was the active shooter. Other passengers remained unharmed.
As of now, all flights at the airport have been grounded by the Federal Aviation Administration as the police carry out an investigation into the terrifying case.
More details are slowly emerging regarding the incident, including the Dallas police chief mentioning how the gunman was seen entering the female restroom and then emerged outside with a weapon in her hand. And then all of a sudden, she began firing. Thankfully, most of her rounds were seen striking the ceiling.
At the moment, the terminal has been cleared of all threats and has been labeled secure by authorities present at the scene.
It is still not known what the shooter’s main motivation for carrying out the firing incident was as cops continue to gather more details from the crime scene.
