A woman who claims to have fallen head over heels for her much older husband says they’re having plenty of trouble starting a family.
41-year-old Shannon Quinn says she met her 74-year-old husband Stephen randomly. It was a moment of love at first sight and she just can’t get over the fact that she adores him to bits.
But the only issue that’s really affecting the couple is the fact that Stephen can’t keep up with Shannon’s s*xual needs and when it comes to having kids, it’s really taking a toll on their relationship.
“We’ve been advised IVF but nothing has been working out for us so far. It’s getting to a point where it’s just beyond frustration”- she continued.
Shannon says she was warned by plenty of people about the huge 33-year age gap that their relationship shares. But she failed to pay heed and continued to follow her heart. And she still has no regrets but really wants to start a family so bad with a man that she can’t get enough of.
“We don’t want to go ahead with IVF. The NHS has recommended it but we want to bring a baby into this world in the most natural way”- she adds.
This couple who hails from Newport in Wales explained how they met at a school where Shannon worked and since then, she can’t stop thinking about him.
On many occasions, Stephen gets mistaken as her father because he’s just a few years younger than them. But he literally doesn’t mind.
The couple claims age is only a number in life and you’ve really got to see beyond those factors when you really feel a special connection with that person.
“He’s my soulmate and I know one day, we’ll have a family of our own. I just hope that day is soon”- she concluded.
