Fear On The Streets Of Manhattan As Woman Gets Mugged With Sharp Weapon During Rush Hour At Subway Station


The crime rate continues to increase at alarming levels in Manhattan after one woman was robbed at a subway station during the rush hours.

According to local media reports, the woman was mugged at knifepoint at a subway station that happened to be located in the Upper Manhattan area on Monday.

Police claim that the brazen robbery unfolded during the afternoon hours of 6 pm on Thursday. Moreover, cops identified the exact location of the crime as the West 163rd Street Station in Washington Heights.

And that’s when horrifying reports revealed how the assailant managed to pull out a knife against the woman and made dire attempts to grab her cellphone.

After a small struggle, he made his way off with her purse in the opposite direction.

Cops were able to locate the bag later on, but they claim it had been emptied out completely before being dumped on the side of a road.

Police have also spoken about how the woman thankfully remained uninjured in the act and that the thief was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash that was located inside the bag.
