The grieving father of the twins who died in a tragic house fire after they were left unsupervised has spoken out.
Twin brothers Leyton and Logan, 3, and twin brothers Kyson and Bryson, 4, died in a house in Sutton, England, after they were left home alone.
When the first responders arrived at the Collingwood Road property, the two sets of twins were removed from the house and rushed to the hospital after being given CPR. Sadly, all four children have passed away.
As MailOnline has since confirmed, the twins were home alone at the time of the incident. The authorities have since the tragedy arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect.
According to a neighbor who recalled the devastating blaze, the four children who died in the fire lived alone with their mother at the property. As of this writing, it is not yet clear who was tasked with supervising the children at the time of the fire.
Now, the boys’ father, Dalton Hoath, has also spoken out and paid a touching tribute to his sons.
“Myself and my family are utterly devastated by this tragic loss. They were bright, caring, loveable boys, but most of all Sons, Brothers, Grandsons, Great Grandsons, Nephews and Cousins,” he said.
“We would like to thank all the emergency services who did so much to try and save our boys, and also the local community who have come together at this difficult time.
“I would ask that my family are given time to grieve in private. They will be forever in my heart and thoughts, love Dad.”
Speaking out was also the children’s grandfather, Jason Hoath, who shared a picture of his “amazing, smart and beautiful” grandsons as he said the entire family has been left devastated by the tragedy.
“I’ve lost four grandchildren and he’s lost his kids as well. It’s all the more heartbreaking because their presents were all piled under the tree ready for them,” Hoath said.
“We don’t know what happened and are just waiting for the police to get back to us. My son has been up all night and he’s shattered. He’s trying to get some sleep. He’s not in a good way as you can imagine.”
Our thoughts are with the boys’ family during these challenging times.
