Terrifying reports are coming in from Illinois where a man has reportedly killed his own family members and decided to set his house on fire.

Police were called to the scene of the tragic family crime where a three-bedroom home was burning in flames at about 7 pm on Friday.

The suspect is yet to be named by the authorities but it is believed that he shot each of his loved ones to death and then barricaded him inside his residence, right before setting his home on fire.

The suspect was seen shooting his own loved ones by witnesses who described the horror to authorities and urged them to intervene before it was too late. But by the time they arrived, the tragedy had been complete and the victims lay helplessly as their bodies burned.

“We saw him shooting his loved ones on the streets. It was just awful. There were loud sounds of bullets that filled the air”- one of the neighbors explained who called the cops immediately.

Sources claim a Marine Corps flag could be seen flying from the family’s porch and that suggested how he was in the military although his exact rank or position is yet to be unveiled as investigations continue.

As of now, the police are yet to release any of the names of the suspect or the victims that were killed in this tragic incident.

They are carrying out a full-blown investigation on the matter, the sources explained.

Neighbors also reported to the cops how the male individual was seen behaving in an awfully strange manner. That is something they felt was really unlike him. And watching the end to that bizarre behavior be the death of his loved ones was definitely the most harrowing and heartbreaking story they had come across in the community.
