The daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley has reportedly died of a cardiac arrest but the authorities are still waiting for the final forensic reports to confirm the actual cause of death.
But another striking report talks about how the celeb had a family history of heart disease. And this reportedly went back generations.
The singer was hospitalized right after she suffered from a cardiac arrest on Thursday. For now, her official cause of death is yet to be revealed as the experts are waiting for confirmation from the recently conducted medical tests.
But this new finding has really started to make so many people think and wonder if that generation-old heart disease history might have something to do with her death.
Her father Elvis Presley died at the age of 42, again from heart disease. This happened to be linked to cardiac arrhythmia and ventricular fibrillation.
At that time, his daughter Lisa Marie was just 9 years old. The cause of death as reported by The Washington Post mentioned for her dad was outlined to be due to three leading heart-related concerns.
This included the likes of raised blood pressure, clogged coronary arteries, and also an enlarged heart. It was tragic for him to pass away this way, especially considering the fact that he was an icon of the music industry.
Sources also mentioned how his addiction to opiates may be another reason for this to occur.
The star’s grandparents also died in a similar manner like cardiac arrest and even heart failure. While they are two separate conditions, both can prove to be fatal, medical experts have confirmed.
