It was one family’s heartbreak during Christmas time when they shed light on how they couldn’t afford Christmas this season.

The news comes after the tragic death of their loving mother, who sadly passed away on Christmas day.

As most households were gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year, this family was doing just the opposite.

It all began in December 2020 when their mother named Elle was diagnosed with a lump inside her breast. It certainly was not the best feeling in the world for her as breast cancer was the confirmed diagnosis. Yet, she opted to go ahead with whatever the doctor recommended in terms of treatment. Tragically, it didn’t go down well and she died days before the festive occasion.

Christmas was Elle’s favorite time of the year and she wouldn’t want to change it for anything. But little did she know that she would be leaving her loved ones behind as her death took place suddenly after she because very ill.

The mother of five went away leaving the kids to struggle on their own. The husband had to figure out how to solve her funeral costs and that meant no Christmas time.

What was even more tragic is how she died on her daughter’s birthday. And she says she can never forget that awkward feeling of her mom being taken away on the day that she brought her daughter into this world.

“It was a very somber affair for our whole family. She was the glue that held us tightly together and now she’s gone!”- they went on to mention.

If they could bring back the mother, they would because for them, life can never be the same again. It’s a void that they feel could never be replaced and it’s a heartbreaking tragedy.
