Beloved actor from Beverly Hills 90210, Joe Tata has passed away at the age of 85.
According to local media outlets, the actor passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He grew immense fame for his role in the popular series where he played Nat Bussicho.
The actor is believed to have been involved with the disease for the past four years, as confirmed by his loved ones on Thursday.
Joe’s death was announced by his former co-star and good friend Ian Ziering. This is just after the recent deaths of two other famed members from the same hit series, Beverly Hills 90210.
“In the last few months, we’ve lost so many loving and talented members of the cast.
There was Jessica Klein who many called out to be a great and prolific writer.
Then there was Denish Douse who was famed for her role as Mrs. Teasley. And now there is Joe Tata who many simply can’t forget for his impeccable acting skills and great dialogue performance”- the message revealed.“Joe was a true OG. I remember seeing him on the Rockford files with collage James Garner, way before we worked together and shared the same screen!”- mentioned his friend 58-year-old star Ziering through a heartfelt post on Instagram.
As you can imagine, the news went viral and many fans took to their accounts on social media to pour in their love, support, and condolences for the actor’s loved ones.
Joe was a regular character on the 90210 series from 1990 to 2000 and many adored the way he acted so naturally, leaving so many fond memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Other members of the industry were also seen coming forward and expressing tributes for the star, who many say will be dearly missed forever.
