Tragic reports have spoken about a horrifying explosion outside a hospital in Hawaii, moments before an ambulance was caught on fire.

According to sources from local media outlets, the ambulance was seen covered in massive balls of flames but then all of a sudden, it exploded too.

The exact time of the incident was outlined to be 9 pm on Wednesday, leaving so many witnesses absolutely stunned as to what was going on.

It is believed that a 91-year-old patient had died, alongside one EMT who happened to be critically wounded after being present inside the ambulance’s back side.

Witnesses claim it was the most horrifying thing they’ve ever come across outside a medical facility.

“This is where people come to be treated and stopped from dying. But today we’re seeing the opposite take place. People are dying in front of our eyes”- one person cried.

Thick and giant plumes of smoke were seen coming out, as were huge flames. Many witnesses began making the incident’s footage which continues to cause chills running down so many people’s spines.

The fire is believed to have raged on for a good 11 minutes. And that’s when finally, the firefighters were able to finally extinguish it.

The exact location was outlined to be the Adventist Health Castle hospital which is located in Kailua, Hawaii. As of right now, authorities are hushed on the matter as investigations continue to determine what exactly caused the haunting blaze that took away the life of an elderly citizen.

“We had an ambulance with us tonight. But we are still trying to understand why. Was it there to catch on fire or to possibly explode? We don’t know but there are plenty of questions on our minds”- the services director for the hospital was seen speaking to the press after the tragedy had ensued.
