Tragic reports have gone on to speak about a horrifying incident that recently took place at an airport in Alabama.

Sources have spoken about the heartbreaking death of a ground airport staff member who died after being ingested into the engine of a parked plane.

The aircraft was parked at the Montgomery Regional Airport’s gates. Moreover, it was highlighted that the plane’s brakes were on during the time of the incident.

And now, the whole matter is leaving a lot of questions on people’s minds as to what went on as investigations into the tragedy continue.

The board handling such matters, the NTSB highlighted how it was just shocking and tragic at the same time. They vowed to get to the bottom of this while offering their condolences to the victims’ family members.

But it was literally horrifying for those that witnessed the incident live. Moreover, it just goes to show that such jobs are not easy and many things are unpredictable on the ground.

The Federal Aviation Administration will now also be taking part in the incident that has sent shockwaves around the country.

Meanwhile, American Airlines has gone on to speak about the loss of one of their team members on the ground.

“We are devastated as to what went on. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s families and other local team members”- the post went on to read.

Following the heartbreaking tragedy, the airport was forced to pause all of its operations. It was not until 8:30 pm that a little normalcy in routine scheduled flights started to occur.
