Terrifying reports have confirmed a mass shooting incident in Philadephia recently where at least three people have been confirmed dead and 13 more critically injured.
According to reports from local media outlets, several active shooters arrived at the city’s popular weekend strip and started to open fire randomly at the huge crowd of people that were gathered downtown.
The cops claim that at least 14 individuals had been struck by the suspects during the later hours of Saturday night and that left dozens injured and at least three dead. But authorities claim that they fear more casualties as investigations into the incident continue.
The exact location for the horrifying crime was identified as South Street right before the clock struck midnight. Among those killed included a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman as a huge barrage of gunfire suddenly erupted out of nowhere.
Cops revealed how they were able to shoot at one of the suspects three times but it is still unclear if they were able to directly target him. Other sources revealed how the bullets fired by the cops forced the gunman to flee but one of them is currently seeking treatment at a local hospital nearby as he had been struck in the forearm region,
Until now, no arrests have been made regarding the incident as the police are currently conducting a massive manhunt to try and arrest those responsible for the crime.
In the same way, the cops have failed to mention how many suspects there were in total as all that is being revealed so far is how there were several active shooters.
For now, the cops have recovered the weapons of the suspects from the scene of the tragedy with the police inspector revealing how one of the guns used during the shooting even had an extended magazine.
This marks the 9th shooting to have taken place in the past week, striking great fear, panic, outcry, and concern by citizens in the country.
