A father from the United Kingdom has dumped his partner and put his two kids to the side after falling in love with a refugee from Ukraine.

Accoriding to local media reports, the refugee had fled her home country citing the war, and ended up being welcomed by a family in Britain. But little did anyone know that she would end up tearing the family apart forever.

The dad of two named Tony Garnett is said to have fallen head over heels for the young Ukrainian woman and hence just couldn’t get her off his mind. Therefore, he has now decided to dump his own partner for the refugee named Sofia Karkadym who entered the household in May.

The duo is said to have had an instant connection with sparks flying across the board. And within no time, the father was convinced that she had everything that he wanted in a soulmate, even more than his partner.

Therefore, without even giving his actions a second guess, he opted to kick his own partner to the curb and leave his family for the young woman whom he had just met.

“I was his partner of ten years. I deserved to be treated better”- Tony Garnett’s former partner named Soflia mentioned in a bold tone but little did she know that her love for her man was not as strong as she had initially thought.

Just ten days after the refugee came, the couple seemed to be having plenty of arguments and in the end, Soflia just couldn’t take it. She left the family home in Bradford after the major dispute and in the end, the father didn’t seem to have any major problem with it.

He dumped her and claims to have made the right decision in the end.
