A 63-year-old renowned radio DJ has been accused of traveling to the Philippines so he can engage in intimate acts with a 13-year-old girl.
According to local media reports, Mark Page who formally worked as BBC’s radio executive has stunned the world after the horrifying allegations against him have come forward.
Page is being now being charged for arranging a trip to sleep with a 13-year-old girl. But the horror didn’t stop there as Page reportedly sent out a series of graphic text messages regarding sexual acts that he wanted the young victim to perform, the court revealed.
Page who hails from Ingleby Barwick had denied all five courts of carrying out and planning the commission of s*x offense on a minor.
Sources claim that three of his charges were reportedly stated to have taken place via webcams while he was present in the United Kingdom and the victims were located in the Philippines, as revealed by the court.
Meanwhile, the other two offenses that remain were said to be carried out when in person, moments after Page, who also served as a DJ, made his way to the Philippines.
During the second day of his trial, it was revealed in the courtroom that the DJ made his visit in October of 2019.
It has also been revealed how the 63 year old was a very active member of the popular dating site called FilipinoCupid.com and that is where he listed his age to be 9 years shorter than what it really was.
After that, he set up a fake profile with the nickname ‘Thai G’ and even used that profile to communicate with the 13-year-old girl during his trip to the Philippines. Other than that, prosecutors revealed how he promised the young child reward in the form of money for obeying his ‘intimate’ demands.
