A mother is breaking her silence after paramedics dismissed her toddler’s symptoms as insignificant.
Sources from local media outlets revealed that it was beyond heartbreaking for her to see them call out the signs and symptoms as nothing to worry about, despite them being so alarming.
Her parents are calling for justice and have gone on to speak about how they were told to take her home and not worry. All they were given for the treatment was Calpol syrup and it was just heartbreaking, to say the least.
Moreover, the fact that the toddler was killed, just hours after visiting the Accident and Emergency department has left her family grieving as this was a loss of life that was senseless and should have never happened in the first place.
The doctors have claimed that the child died in her sleep but the parents revealed how they just couldn’t accept something of this sort. It really had them beyond baffled because a healthy baby should and could never die in her sleep.
“This shouldn’t have happened. She was sick and they didn’t catch on to it. We begged and pleaded but they told us that there was nothing to worry about!”- the grieving parents continued to explain.
The parents are seeking answers for this case. They believe that it’s their right to justice and they’re not backing down, anytime soon.
Moreover, an investigation against the medical facility and doctors at the A&E is currently taking place and the officials have vowed to get to the bottom of this affair.
A post-mortem would be conducted tomorrow to determine the child’s cause of death.
