Shocking and heartbreaking scenes went viral on social media featuring a young mom being dealt with harshly on a train.

According to sources from local media outlets, the mom was left with zero choices but to breastfeed her little child on the dirty train floor. And the reason was related to commuters refusing to give up their seat for her.

Sophie Molineux was seen breastfeeding with tears in her eyes and it’s definitely one of the most uncomfortable situations to be in. But her hungry baby just couldn’t sit still and continued to cry.

The mother and her baby were on their way out to Ludlow for a day out of town but no one knew that they would be facing such cruel behavior from members of the public.

The train was packed and that meant getting a seat was near impossible. But when she requested some of the younger male passengers to take a seat, all she got was a no or a rude and stony face stare.

“I was with my husband and we had no choice but to take the aisle and stand there. We both took our time and turns holding the baby. It was not comfortable and I could see my child getting restless”- she continued.

Viral images showed the young mother is left with no choice but to hold the child and start feeding him on the ground. It wasn’t clean by any means but when she saw her little child named Chester begin to get hungry, it was a no-brainer that this had to be done.

“There were around 50 people located inside the carriage and nobody wished to move around”- she added.
