Terrifying reports are coming in from Texas regarding the death of a 5-year-old child who reportedly died after being left inside a scorching hot vehicle.
According to local media outlets, the mother is said to have forgotten the baby inside his tiny car seat. And by the time she remembered, he had already passed away.
These days, the Texas heat has reached triple digits and that was just too much for his tiny body to bear.
The incident is believed to have taken place in a Texas suburb on Monday, right outside the family home. The child was stated to have been inside the burning vehicle with all the windows rolled up and the engine shut for several hours and that is what ultimately led to his tragic and untimely death.
On the other hand, new details from the case have emerged in regards to how the mother was stated to have been so busy and involved in planning her other’s child’s birthday party that she forgot her baby inside.
This tragic incident was reported by locals to the police at about 2 pm and by that time, the child had already died.
“The car was parked outside the home in Houston. That day, the temperature had struck 101 degrees and that would have killed anyone”- the cops revealed.
The cops claim the mother was driving around all day. She had been busy with her errands for her other 8-year-old child’s birthday party. Therefore, after arriving at the family home, she and her other kid quickly got off and forgot about the other child inside.
“It was not for three hours that the mom realized that her son was missing and that’s when she recalled that she had forgotten to take him out”- the authorities added. As of now, investigations into the tragic case continue. The mother’s identity is yet to be revealed and she is yet to receive any charges too.
