Tragic reports have gone on to speak about the Lollipop Lady who sadly passed away while doing what she loved best and that was linked to campaigning for things that she truly believed in.
Her heartbroken family is describing it as the most devastating irony imaginable and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that she really died what she loved and that is what makes it so much sadder.
The heartbroken family says she was the first one to be given the title of Lollipop Lady in Bury. Shew as seriously injured after getting involved in a collision that arose on Walmersley Road on December 6.
The 87-year-old was seen being taken to a nearby medical facility but she never managed to regain her consciousness again, sources explained.
Now, the family is paying tribute to her as she died after being rushed to the hospital. She was a loving grandmother of three who used to be the most selfless individual you could ever come across. She fought to make the roads a safer place to be for young kids out there. And we’re talking about the 1960s era.
On the other hand, her daughter was seen paying her mom a heartbreaking tribute in the same way.
Irene lost her battle against life on Sunday. She had been involved in a terrible road accident which many described to be a heartbreaking collision. And despite paramedics rushing to be by her side on time, she died.
Now, the police are taking part in an important investigation. But the post-mortem results are out and have confirmed her cause of death.
She died after sustaining multiple injuries caused by the collision but more details about the matter are still under investigation, the cops concluded.
