Actress Anne Heche has reportedly passed away at the age of 53, confirmed her rep this morning.
The news comes just one week after the celeb was involved in a terrifying cocaine-fueled car crash. Today, her doctors were also seen speaking about how the star is reportedly brain dead and is only breathing through life support.
And that’s when rumors began to be raised about her life support being switched off soon as drugs had been found inside her system.
The 53-year-old is now being mourned by the entire Hollywood fraternity including her former girlfriend and talk show host Ellen De Generes.
The star was known to suffer from her addiction-related troubles and was stated by the cops to be found with high levels of cocaine while driving on the roads.
Heche slammed her vehicle inside a residence belonging to Lynne Mishele, leaving her with serious but unspecified injuries, as confirmed by local media outlets recently.
During that time, police were carrying out an investigation to help determine which felony charges would be brought against the star due to the severe nature of the injuries that Mishele had sustained.
But yesterday, the celeb’s team publicly announced how Anne Heche was brain ended as doctors confirmed that she had entered into a state of coma after her brutal car crash.
Her family chose to keep her alive through a ventilator at a private hospital while doctors were believed to have harvested the celeb’s organs for donation, until Friday.
Heche had signed up for organ donation as a part of her final wishes, and that’s why keeping that in mind, the family has decided to move forward and respect them, allowing medical experts to carry on with their duties.
