A loving woman has reportedly passed away due to the horrifying actions of her neighbor.

Sources revealed how she was busy in her home when all of a sudden, a domestic violence-related incident took place at her neighbor’s home below.

And that’s when the neighbor fired his handgun into the ceiling, causing her to be struck with gunshot wounds. She was alone at home so had no one to help.

The morning after the incident took place, her dead body was discovered inside her apartment, leaving loved ones numb with grief.

The victim was identified as Alia Matti Balola who was found dead by the cops with gunshot wounds covering the side of her body. By that time she was dead and although emergency services did rush to the scene, it was all in vain.

They took the 37-year-old’s body to the hospital which was located inside the apartment building’s third floor.

The suspect was identified as 20-year-old A’Monte Zariq Jones who was arrested and later charged with the murder of the victim.

Officers allege that he fired the gun right through the ceiling during the horrifying domestic disturbance. The heartbreaking and tragic incident was believed to have taken place in Clemmons North Carolina during the evening hours of Monday.

Moreover, Balola’s body was not discovered until the next morning hours.

Since then, the Sheriff’s department was seen releasing a heartbreaking statement that stated how every loss of an individual was a loss to the community.

Meanwhile, the loved ones of the victim are breaking their silence and are raising questions as to why law enforcement agencies were so slow to react and respond. Her body should have been discovered earlier as gunshots were fired at the ceiling where another person happened to be living.
