McLeod was a former tattoo parlor owner who killed five people after he opened fire at multiple locations throughout the city of Denver and the suburb of Lakewood on Monday night.

Following his killing spree, during which he gunned down three fellow tattoo artists, McLeod was shot dead by the police. While the authorities believe the gunman might have gone after tattoo shop owners, the motive for the shootings remain unclear.
