You may have heard of some interesting love affairs but we bet this next bizarre relationship story just might top them all.

One dental nurse from the United Kingdom is said to have surprised not only her own parents but plenty of others when she decided to travel to Arizona and marry a man that she had never met.

According to local media reports, 26-year-old Rebecca Short who hails from Oxfordshire is said to have informed her family about a trip to Disney World. But instead, she had some other bizarre intentions.

While she may have put up images of herself wearing mickey mouse ears in Florida, what really caused her family shock is when she informed them that she was no longer single.

Yes, the 26-year-old dental nurse trainee had just married a death row inmate that she had reportedly met online through PenPal.

Her husband is 35-year-old Manuel Ovante who faces execution very soon through lethal injection. He has been convicted for carrying out a double murder, explained reports.

Ovante is currently serving his jail sentence in Arizona at the Eyman Jail.

The real shocker came when Rebecca sent her family images of her marriage with the inmate, leaving her family speechless.

She claims to have fallen head over heels for him, adding how his profile depicted exactly who he was… a goofball. In addition to that, his bio stated, “No one is perfect” and that in itself said enough.

Ovante is said to have spent nearly 10 years in jail, after being sentenced in 2010.

Rebecca’s wedding images featured her husband in his orange jumper prison attire while she donned a black dress. Both could be seen beaming with big smiles.
