Sam Smith is known for making some pretty outrageous fashion decisions and his recent performance on the Grammys stage last night appears to be no exception.
The star singer who is known for his Unholy track was definitely in a different mood altogether as he made his way on a fiery stage dressed in a red-toned devil’s headgear.
The performance was complete with red stage lights and plenty of effects that made it appear like it was demonic and straight out of hell. But while some enjoyed the visual effects and felt that it nailed the concept linked to the devil, others were not so gracious in giving it a thumbs up.
They felt the act was just horrendous and it was another way of saying he enjoyed worshipping the devil.
The celeb has been making the headlines a lot recently with their bold and striking looks, and this devil-themed headgear was no exception.
It didn’t take too long for Twitter to notice and the entire ordeal started to come forward in the form of a heated debate where people were not happy. They said it was satanic from all angles and didn’t deserve much recognition at all.
Other adjectives used were horrible and disturbing while another person mentioned how one did not need to be religious to understand that this sort of behavior is wrong and uncalled for.
“This man worships the devil, get him away from here!”- added another person.
The singer hit the stage with Kim Petras for the star-studded horror performance. And the duo certainly made an impact that many would remember for months.
