Following one month and a half after the untimely death of Bob Saget, the investigators have finally revealed the presumed cause of his fatal head injury.
The 65-year-old stand-up comedian and Full House star was found dead in his Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande on January 9 just hours after his two-hour performance in Florida.
At the time, the detectives revealed that foul play and drug use were not suspected of playing a part in the actor’s death.
One month after the unfortunate incident, the autopsy report revealed the shocking extent of Bob’s head injury, prompting medical experts to compare the damage to his head to someone getting hit by a baseball bat or someone falling 30 feet.
While investigators initially suggested the actor had slammed his head against the bed’s headboard, they now decided to put rumors to an end by telling People magazine that the actor likely sustained heavy head injuries after collapsing onto the hard marble floor in the bathroom.
According to People, it is believed that Bob lost his balance or blacked out in the bathroom before falling onto the white marble floor.
After passing out – as the investigators believe – Bob likely regained his consciousness only to return to his bed where he passed out again and never woke up.
Due to a lack of physical evidence such as blood or hair in the bathroom, the investigators came to the conclusion that the actor hit his head against the marble floor through the process of elimination.
He was reportedly found dead in his hotel room more than 12 hours after the incident.
