A 6-year-old boy from Arkansas was recently found dead under floorboards at his residence.

According to sources from local media outlets, the victim’s sister was also found to be suffering from some major injuries that included massive burns on her scalp.

Moreover, now, it has been confirmed that the child’s own mother and her boyfriend are in police custody as the cops feel they’re involved in the terrifying ordeal.

28-year-old Ashley Roland and her 33-year-old lover named Nathan Bridges were being held on charges linked to murder, abuse of the corpse, tampering with evidence, and even endangering the welfare of a minor.

On the other hand, the authorities believe that the child died from injuries that he sustained in the residence three months back and they’re also now investigating burns on the scalp of the six-year-old child.

The girl is the mother’s daughter and thankfully, she’s in stable condition at the hospital located in Memphis.

Both young victims were reportedly discovered underneath floorboards and it’s just appalling to many people in the community how a mother could turn on her own child in this horrifying manner.

Therefore, the suspects are being held in the Lee County Jail as more and more investigations continue as we speak.

The children’s grandmother whose name is Karen has been in the middle of trying to gain custody of the kids for a while now. As revealed through a recently published GoFundMe page.

It highlighted how she really spend a huge sum of money to try and gain their custody. And when she arrived last week to pick them up, she was so mortified because they happened to be in the most appalling condition imaginable.

Seeing the young girl’s hair cut off and her brother in a dire state, she knew that the mother didn’t deserve to have custody of these kids anymore as their lives were in danger. And her fears were indeed true after the terrifying reports seen today.
