One man is facing a startling array of accusations that have arisen against his conduct and character in regard to his behavior with women.

According to local media reports, 33-year old Jon Gurney who hails from Brisbane is accused of mixing drugs in his date’s drink and then r*ping her.

And just in case that wasn’t shocking enough, he sent her a text the next morning that mentioned, “Sorry Babe” as a justification for the crime.

The case was recently tackled in the courtroom where the accused suspect faces a trial for his horrifying behavior against a woman he reportedly met online via a dating platform.

The charges include two counts of r*pe, one charge of mixing drugs into her drink with the intention of committing a s*xual act.

Now, jurors in the courtroom are expected to hear the side of six witnesses in regards to the woman’s interaction with the accused.

The incident is stated to have taken place in November of 2019 as mentioned by the case’s prosecutor during his opening statement.

The couple is stated to have met through Tinder and found a number of similarities that pave the way for their meeting. But little did the woman know about the man’s cruel intentions.

“We hit it off quite well at the start and began talking. We even kissed a number of times, before we fell asleep in the same bed together”- the victim revealed.

But after a span of a few days, the duo met over a couple of drinks and that’s when they had s*x together twice. On that occasion, the suspect is said to have smashed her phone by mistake.

Soon, the couple met again for another round of drinks and that is when the horrifying incident of abuse took place after he spiked up her drink and carried out the terrifying actions against her will.
