30-year-old Remi Lucidi, also known as Remi Enigma, was a French adventurist and thrill seeker who often shared selfies from the world’s tallest bridges, skyscrapers, towers, and other buildings he ascended without the use of any safety equipment.

In his photos, Lucidi was often seen posing for photos from the top of the buildings, whereas he would sometimes sit on the rooftop ledges and let his legs hang off the edge.

The young man now met his end in Hong Kong after falling 721 feet to the ground from the top of a residential skyscraper known as the Tregunter Tower.

According to the reports, Lucidi was last spotted knocking on the windows of a penthouse unit by a maid. Before the help arrived, however, he lost his footing and fell to the ground far below.

It was also revealed that the daredevil bypassed the building’s security by pretending he was visiting a person living on the 40th floor. An investigation into the deadly stunt further revealed that Lucidi used force to open the locked door leading to the rooftop in an attempt to get a photo at the very top of the building.

“He was healthy and fit and happy-faced. I feel very sad. He told me he was going to hike a mountain when I asked where he was going. He said he wanted to hike a lot when he was here,” the owner of the hostel Lucidi was staying at during his trip to Hong Kong told the media.
