An urgent police hunt has been launched for a missing teenager who suddenly disappeared into the woods.
According to reports from local media outlets, the teen was last seen cycling on the streets, right before she made her way to the woodland area. And that is when the CCTV showed she had vanished.
The news has left her loved ones in a state of shock and grief, as they immediately filed a police report when they failed to find any trace of her.
It was recently revealed by authorities how Skye went missing from her residence on Tuesday which happens to be located in the Woodhouse area, near Sheffield. CCTV footage showed her riding her bike peacefully all alone with no one in sight. But as soon as she approached the woodland area, she disappeared.
Skye was stated to have been last spotted during the afternoon hours of 3 pm. This is when she had been entering the Valley Nature Reserve of Shirebrook in the Sheffield district.
This information and the CCTV footage related to the disappearance were recently made public by the South Yorkshire Police. They have recently come forward and launched a mega search hunt for the missing girl as it’s been two days since anyone last saw or heard about her.
The authorities are also appealing to the general public to please come forward and assist in the operation if they have any details about her or may have seen her.
The youngster was last seen riding a bike that was red and black in color. Meanwhile, she had a red-colored coat on too.
Her appearance was described by authorities as one having long tresses that were ginger in color. She also happened to be wearing a specific bag over her shoulder, the cops added.
