BREAKING: Customer Shoots Masked Robber At A Restaurant And Returns Stolen Money To Other Diners


A customer fatally shot a masked robber at a restaurant in Texas and then returned the stolen money back to other diners.

According to reports, the robber had a fake gun when he entered Ranchito #4 Taqueria in southwest Houston on Thursday.

He was also wearing gloves and a black ski mask when he demanded customers’ money at gunpoint.

But as the robber, believed to be in his 20s, headed towards the exit, one of the customers took out his own gun and shot the man in the head.

He reportedly fired nine times, causing the robber to fall to the ground.

The patron, who was seen wearing a grey t-shirt and pants, collected the stolen cellphones and money and returned them to the diners.

He then drove away in a pickup truck along with other diners.

Police said that no charges have been filed but they want to speak to the customer in the video.

The identity of the robber hasn’t yet been released but investigators believe that the gun he used to steal people’s money may have been a plastic BB gun.

In a report, HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Arrington, C. Duncan and Detectives S. Overstreet and L. Lovelace said: “Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the restaurant at the above address and observed an unknown black male in all black clothing, a black ski mask, and black gloves had been shot multiple times inside the business.”

The report continued: “Paramedics pronounced him deceased. Witnesses told officers the suspect entered the restaurant and pointed a pistol at patrons as he demanded their money.

“As the suspect collected money from patrons, one of the patrons, described as a white or Hispanic male, produced a gun of his own and shot the suspect multiple times.”

The owner of the restaurant, Pedro Lopez, said he and his staff are still in shock by the incident.
