A murderer was caught on camera as he ‘fake cried’ crocodile tears after being arrested for brutally murdering his girlfriend’s 11-week-old son.
Haunting sounds and footage were discovered via CCTV footage where the man called upon his victim while holding him in his arms. “Come on baby, Daddy’s here”- was just the start of the horrifying crime that left little Teddie dead with an unbelievably amount of injuries to his tiny body.
31-year-old Kane Mitchell who hails from Cambridgeshire was recently arrested and jailed for his heinous crime and was given a sentence comprising of a minimum of 18 years for conducting the murder.
The baby passed away with 17 broken ribs, alongside many fractures to his collarbone and skull, and brain damage too. This includes damage to his eyes and spinal cord as well. Teddie passed away in the hospital after 10 days, where he fought for his life in the ICU’s life support machine.
Meanwhile, viewers who witnessed the 24 hours footage in police custody have gone on to slam the criminal for fake crying after the arrest.
The murderer was reportedly in a relationship with the baby’s mother who was identified as 30-year-old Lucci Smith. Moreover, the pair even lived together for nearly eight months.

In the same way, the footage also reveals the moment where detectives begin questioning the mother and how her child endured so many horrifying injuries without her knowledge. To that question, the emotional mother replied, “I have no idea.”
Later, the mother revealed how she would be the first one to inform the police if her child was inflicted with violence. “It’s my baby at the end of it all, and he means more to me than anything else,” she concludes.
