Officials in Saudi Arabia were seen cracking down on a number of toys and other items that were seen to promote the ideology of ‘homosexuality’.
According to local media reports, the Kingdom revealed how they could no longer tolerate the presence of such items on store shelves because they were sending out a poisoned message to young children and that was not healthy.
Therefore, the country’s state television channel was seen showing live footage of officials barging into the toy stores and pulling the items off the shelves in a furious and abrupt manner.
For those who may not be aware, the rainbow color has been shown to be a standard representation of the LGBTQ community with their flag being designed in a similar manner.
But since the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a Muslim nation with strict conservative laws, there is no room for the promotion of such practices and that is why the country says it has been left with no decision but this.
State media reports claim that it’s not only toys that would be targeted but other similar products like clothing which would also be pulled away from racks if they followed the similar color theme.
All the items removed were being seen thrown on the floor which slowly converted into a massive pile. This included rainbow-toned skirts, hats, pencil cases, and other accessories that fell into the same category.
The channel making the live broadcast took it upon themselves to give the users a tour of items that were in contradiction to the Islamic religion as well as public morals as these things promoted homosexuality which had no place in the country.
