Cops in Greater Manchester were seen issuing a grim warning after a dead body was reportedly found covered in hazardous substances.
According to reports from local media outlets, the police in Wigan saw the dead body lying on the street during the later hours of the night. And that’s when officers saw the remains covered in hazardous substances.
Seeing the grim discovery put officers on high alert and that’s when a forensic tent was seen getting erected on the side of a road inside the perimeter.
A police statement has called upon anyone and everyone that has direct contact with the body to come forward and speak to them so they can receive the necessary assistance for the investigations.
Ever since the body was discovered, a police cordon was placed there, and then since that day. There is also now a forensic tent erected on the roadside inside the perimeter as reported by the Manchester Evening News.
Meanwhile, a police statement has gone on to speak about anyone that has direct contact with the remains or to seek some medical advice immediately.
For now, the cops are just limiting the story to how there were plenty of hazardous remains on the dead body that they’ve retrieved. But they failed to mention what exactly those were and what may have taken place.
On the other hand, a statement was sent out during the evening hours of yesterday that revealed how the deceased body is yet to be claimed by anyone and it’s just a really bizarre mystery.
“We are working on identifying the body and inquiries are currently ongoing. We are very keen on speaking to anyone who has information regarding this incident”- the concluding statement of the cops mentioned.
