Donald Trump is making a lot of heads turn with his startling statements regarding what he would do after being elected as the new President of the country in 2024.
While the former commander in chief has yet to formally announce that he’s taking part in the race to be the country’s race, one thing is for sure. He has dropped plenty of hints that prove he’s very keen on accepting the role.
Donald Trump was seen mentioning through his ‘Truth Social’ media account that one of the first things that he would do after being re-elected by his people is to force the government to issue an apology for all of the rioters from Capitol Hill.
Similarly, he says a pardon would similarly be granted in full form because he refers to all of these individuals as brave and kind people. Hence, he is willing to do everything to have their names cleared and honors restored.
But what really took so many people by surprise is how he recently met with a huge majority of the rioters and heard them out.
He called them an incredible bunch of individuals and even confirmed how they were getting financial support from him because he strongly felt they deserved it.
The news came as the former president was speaking to Wendy Bell on Thursday morning on the same topic.
As of now, it’s still not clear if Trump is going to play the role of a puppet master from behind the scenes of his party or really stand up for the post of president. But by the looks and feels of it, we think he will be running full throttle for the post of president.
