Healthcare Company That Hired ‘Mentally Ill’ Nurse Who Killed SIX People Refuses To Say How She Was Chosen For The Job


The healthcare company that employed the ‘mentally ill’ nurse who killed six people in a horror crash refuses to comment on how she was chosen for the job.

37-year-old Nicole Linton was taken into custody on six murder charges for killing a heavily pregnant woman, her one-year-old son, her unborn child, her boyfriend, and three other victims on August 4.

She reportedly crashed her Mercedes into vehicles, slicing one of the cars in half and sending the boy in his car-seat into the air.

The motive is still unclear but her lawyer said that she was a ‘profound history’ of mental health problems.

According to reports, Linton was working at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center after being sent there by travel nursing company AMN Healthcare, which sends skilled contractors to companies where they are needed.

For two years, she was worked with two temporary nursing companies RN Network and AMN.

AMN Healthcare refused to comment on how Linton was vetted, with a spokesperson saying: “At this time, we are not able to comment on an active criminal investigation. Any further questions should  be forwarded to law enforcement authorities.”

Kaiser Permanente, the facility where Linton was working, placed the responsibility on AMN.

A spokesman told Daily Mail: “Everyone at Kaiser Permanente is deeply saddened by last Thursday’s horrific crash. It’s impossible to imagine the pain those involved are experiencing. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.”

“Ms. Nicole Lorraine Linton is not employed by Kaiser Permanente, rather is a nurse employed by AMN Healthcare and contracted out to work at Kaiser Permanente on a temporary basis,” the spokesman continued.

“She was not traveling for Kaiser Permanente at the time of the accident.”
