In what is being described as an absolute miracle to many, the FBI manhunt for a missing 8-year-old child has come to an end.
The young child has reportedly been found alive and well in Mexico as confirmed by local media outlets today.
The child reportedly vanished in the year 2018 and had been kidnapped by her own biological mother, sources went on to mention.
But despite a massive manhunt that was so extensive that it went on for five years, cops failed to trace the child’s whereabouts. But now, the authorities are confirming that they are relieved that the child is well as she’s been found in Mexico.
Aranza Lopez was kidnapped at the age of 4 from Vancouver in the American state of Washington. And that is what prompted the FBI to conduct the massive search with the security service vowing to never give up on it.
“For four years and more, we did not give up on this ordeal. There were special agents in charge and while the period appears to be a long time, we are glad it has ended on a high”- the spokesperson for the FBI in charge elaborated.
Aranza has thankfully been returned to the US and the FBI claims they will be working hard to support the sprog as she settles back into American life.
“Our major concern has always been related to providing support to Aranza. And that’s so she can start her integration into the US”- she further continued.
The child had a supervised visit by her mother at a mall. But she tricked her caretakers by claiming that she was taking her to the toilet. Instead, she ran away with her child and another accomplice in a stolen vehicle and was never heard from again until now.
