American singer, songwriter, and dancer Chris Brown has sparked fury after saying he’s tired of everyone reminding him that he assaulted Rihanna in the past.
The 33-year-old R&B singer hit the headlines back in 2009 after brutally assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna and sending the singer to the hospital.
Throughout the years following the domestic violence incident, Brown has remained a controversial figure in the music industry and has frequently been called out for his past “mistakes.”
Recently, Brown was ousted by a number of critics, including singer Kiely Williams, after his collaboration with Chloe Bailey was announced.
“Let him come out with his own record — so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN. He can’t so he won’t. So what does he do?” Williams tweeted.
Seemingly enraged, Brown went on a long tirade in which he slammed his haters while playing the victim card saying other celebrities got a second chance after being accused of domestic violence.
“THE FACT that you think you have to speak negatively about me makes u look so lame… YOUR LIFE AND CAREER MUST SUCK RIGHT NOS. Minding your business WOULDVE been best.. but I guess you don’t have a business or a real job that makes u financially stable. I feel more embarrassed for you and your actual maturity,” the singer responded.
He then continued his rant in a series of expletive posts that left not only his critics but also his fans fuming.
“If yall still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17year old please kiss my whole entire a**! I’m f***ing 33! Im so tired of yall running wit this narrative .. You weird a** n****s are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f*** out each other in front the world,” Brown said.
“But thats OK? It’s entertainment? All yall can suck my d*** disrespectfully.”
He continued: “Where are the cancel culture with these white artist that date underage women, beat the f*** out their wives, giving b****** AIDS. Oh. That’s right.. they are your buddies. No more fake love from me.. Stay out my way or get ran over simple as that!”
The singer also shared a long list of celebrities who were previously involved in domestic violence cases. These included Nicolas Cage, Ozzy Osbourne, Mel Gibson, Steven Seagal, Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen, and more.
