Shocking reports are coming from India where a flight was left with no choice but to make an emergency landing after it became filled with smoke.
Viral footage from the incident showed desperate scenes featuring passengers who couldn’t believe what was taking place in front of them. Moreover, they were seen coughing while some began to choke due to the intense amount of smoke in the air.
The frightening incident reportedly took place abroad on a SpiceJet aircraft that happened to be flying from the Indian city of Goa,
Horrifying footage that was recorded from inside the vehicle showed people praying and being told to keep calm as this was an emergency situation.
But the way people ducked down and began to panic really put a lot of things into perspective. Anything and everything was possible here.
The crew members really tried their best as many people feared for their lives. And to only be given a response about the emergency situation and being told to pray is not easy.
People aboard the flight say they knew they were going to die and they felt a crash was the end fate for the plane. But thankfully, that didn’t happen.
Not being able to breathe for 25 minutes aboard the plane is really something that many viewers felt was shocking.
“People were gasping for air. You certainly didn’t want to be aboard this flight. We were choking and feared the worst for our lives”- another passenger explained. But the exact cause of the smoke is yet to be revealed by authorities conducting the investigation.
Dozens of ambulances were seen waiting on the runway of Goa airport after an ‘SOS’ signal for help was issued by the pilot while requesting permission for an emergency landing.
“Even our oxygen masks failed to come out. We really struggled in there and are grateful to make it out alive”- one other horrified passenger aboard the flight explained.
