Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a northwestern Ph.
D. student whose remains were located in the Chicago Harbor recently.
Sources revealed how the cops were on an urgent hunt after he was reported missing by his friends. But little did anyone know that he would be dead.
The body was found two days after he was last seen leaving a party as confirmed by officials.
Moreover, divers from the Chicago Police Department spoke about how they pulled him out on Tuesday which is nearly two days after he was last seen leaving an event, as confirmed by officials.
The divers found the remains of 25-year-old Peter Salvino who hailed from Diversey Harbor. It was 6 pm at that time.
The finding was extremely grim and tragic and took place just a few days away from Christmas. Moreover, the exact location where the remains were found included 2400 Block of North Cannon Drive, which is near where Salvino’s phone was last pinged during the early morning hours of Sunday.
Sources from local media outlets have gone on to mention that the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office is the one who went on to confirm his identity later on. As of now, there is yet to be any definite cause of death outlined by the officials.
Cops also detailed how the graduate student was last seen leaving a party during the later hours of Saturday. This was around the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The officers even highlighted how he ended up FaceTiming one of his pals at midnight on Saturday. He revealed how he was walking back home to his apartment and was nearly half a mile away from there.
