A newly ordained pastor who hails from Chicago is being called out after he was requested by the church to hold a story hour for children, while dressed in ‘drag queen’ attire.
Aaron Musser who was reportedly allocated this summer was seen addressing young kids from his church’s pulpit while wearing a blonde toned wig, makeup, and a white-colored dress as well.
The pastor could be seen spreading the holy word to kids at Logan Square’s St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
According to local media reports, the shocking incident occurred last Sunday, where Musser could be seen reading a holy book about Joy to the young members in the audience.
Musser sparked great controversy for not only dressing like a drag queen but also for putting forward a statement from the holy church which spoke about how his attempt of teaching drag was only related to spreading joy.
“I have a greater tale to share with all of you today,” he explained at the start of his story hour. And that’s when the famous pastor tossed his blond hair to the side.
“I am also a boy most of the time when I am here, but today, I am a girl,” he added.
Since then, the church has received plenty of criticism regarding how they felt it was necessary for the pastor to teach in drag, also explaining how the church would like everyone to participate in full spirit by donning garments and accessories which make one feel 100% like a drag queen and the best version of themselves.
In one of his shocking postings that was released recently, the pastor can be seen talking about queerness and how it is a right and a very beautiful one, indeed.
“We are who we are and we can articulate our truth,” the pastor explained on his personal account on Facebook.
