Cher was pictured holding hands with her new boyfriend after the two enjoyed dinner during a night out.
The 76-year-old Queen of Pop confirmed dating rumors after she was spotted holding hands with a man four decades her senior last week.
The man has since been identified as 36-year-old Alexander Edwards, a music producer with a troubling dating history who managed to capture Cher’s heart.
The couple were not spotted smiling at each other and holding hands after enjoying a romantic dinner at Olivetta in West Hollywood on Saturday.
According to the reports, the pair dined for some two hours before leaving the restaurant in high spirits.
Once in the car, Edwards was pictured kissing the hand of the ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ hitmaker with his eyes closed as she gazed into the distance.
As Cher previously insisted, the new beau makes her feel like a queen, whereas she doesn’t believe that “love knows math.”
Cher also explained that she was in love but not “blinded by it” in response to her fans’ concerns about her dating a much younger man.
Edwards previously dated Amber Rose, the ex-girlfriend of Kanye West’s. The pair had been dating from 2018 to 2021 and they share a 3-year-old son.
Rose and Edwards’ relationship came to an abrupt end in 2021, after the model confronted the music producer about his habitual cheating.
“I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes,” she announced.
“All 12 of y’all bums (The ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him. Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to f**k him anyway.”
While Edwards eventually owned up to his actions, he appeared to justify the cheating by saying: “I love her, though. That’s, like, my best friend, the mother of my son. I love my stepson too. But… I like women.
“At the end, I don’t think anybody can be happy or successful if you’re not truly yourself, whether other people understand it or blame you… It’s just who I am, and it’s not how she wants to be loved.”
