Missing girl Charlotte Sena was found alive and in good health after presumably getting kidnapped for ransom.
A massive manhunt was launched on top of an Amber Alert after 9-year-old Charlotte disappeared suddenly while riding her bike at Moreau Lake State Park in upstate New York during her family’s camping trip.
The authorities have since found the child locked up in a cabinet of a campervan in Milton, just some 13 miles from where the Sena family resides.
The police also arrested 47-year-old Craig Ross Jr. who has since been charged with kidnapping.
Now, the man’s family spoke out and revealed they want nothing to do with the alleged kidnapper.
“We want nothing to do with him. I could give a f*** if the dude dropped dead tomorrow,” one of Ross Jr.’s sons, Joshua Ross, told the reporters who piled up outside the suspect’s home.
He added: “I could give a f*** if anything, I couldn’t care less. He’s disgusting. He’s gross! He should die, I couldn’t care less. I couldn’t give a rat’s a** what happens.”
Speaking out were also neighbors of the troubled family who they branded as “reclusive.”
“Last night I heard sirens, and the entire road was covered with undercover cars and state police and Troopers. I asked if I should be concerned, and the police asked me to look at photos and I told them yeah, that’s Craig he owns that house and his sons live there now,” one neighbor explained.
They added that Ross Jr. recently moved into a campervan with his mom after his multiple sclerosis got bad. His children, who are in their 20s, have since lived in the home alone.
The source added: “They’re in their 20s, I’ve briefly seen them but they keep to themselves. My kids ride their bikes up to his mailbox and that’s about it. He was pretty reclusive, he moved in shortly after us. He made a driveway earlier in the year and never quite finished it.
“This was his home up until about four weeks ago, he had to move back into the trailer with his mom because his MS got so bad.”
