Archie Battersbee’s mom is opening up more about her son’s near-to-death condition after he was denied the final plea of hope from a European Court.
According to local media outlets, Archie’s life support machine will reportedly be switched off as the European Court denied the final plea put forward by the family.
Archie’s mom says her son’s near-to-death condition took place after he took on a dare that was projected across the popular social media app TikTok. Therefore, the mom says it’s high-time such apps are banned in the world before they end up causing grief for other parents and families as it did for her and her loved one.
“This app is putting so many lives at risk. It needs to stop now. We don’t want our kids to die. They try to imitate whatever is trending these days and they are to blame for the chaos taking place”- the mother cried.
TikTok was first launched in the year 2017 and it clearly took over the world by storm in an instant, where so many users were excited to share their videos with others.
But with the good does come the bad as many young kids use the app without parental guidance and end up taking up drastic dares that have resulted in so many senseless tragedies.
Some challenges comprise of innocent dance routine while others speak of hazardous dares, like the one Archie Battersbee took on, leaving him delibated forever.
The 12-year-old was found by his mother inside his room with a ligature around his neck. She revealed how her son tried to perform the trending blackout challenge that he saw online and didn’t realize the dangers that came with it.
