A mother from Texas was seen shooting and injuring a burglar that reportedly broke into her home when she was alone with her young kids.

The fearless mom says that she somehow got the courage to face the man and ended up firing bullets directly at him and which caused him to be wounded and fall to the ground.

Reports from Hidalgo’s Sheriff’s Office were seen speaking about how the suspect just randomly burst into her home and tried to put her life and her kids at risk. This was just too much for the mom to absorb and she felt it was time to take matters into serious consideration.

The mom is believed to have holed up her kids inside her bedroom as she felt that was the only way to go about the situation. She feared the worst but someone managed to really put up a tough fight and come out victorious in the end.

The suspect was identified by the cops as 36-year-old Carlos Garcia who was left wounded in the left arm and that is what forced him to flee.

A few moments after they arrived, the police officers were seen arresting Garcia and taking him to a nearby field to search for any other potentially dangerous weapons at hand. And that’s when they charged him with burglary too.

As reported by the Hidalgo Sheriff’s Department, if anyone feels endangered and the thoughts of another person breaking into their home are taking place, they have every right to defend themselves and protect themselves by utilizing deadly force.

The incident is believed to have taken place on October 25 at about 9 pm in the night in Edinburg in Texas. And that’s somewhere near the southern border of the state. Moreover, this particular town is called out to be a part of the Rio Grande Valley region.
