11-year-old Ana Paun from Birmingham, England, was on her way home with her sister when an unleashed Bully charged at her and bit into her arm.

After getting pulled and thrown around a gas station by the powerful beast, the young girl was saved by brave members of the public who attacked the dog with makeshift weapons to save the child from almost certain death. Two men were also bitten by the dog in the process.

“The dog just came at me out of nowhere. I was walking to the shop with my elder sister and the dog was with its owner, who was standing by a bus shelter,” Ana recalled in an interview with MailOnline after undergoing procedures to have her arm stitched up and fixed.

“The dog stared at me and as I got closer it suddenly jumped up and bit my arm, it didn’t take its gaze off me and continued staring while it was biting. It sort of locked on to my arm and wouldn’t let go. I was screaming as loud as I could.”

Speaking of her traumatic experience, Ana went on: “The dog knocked me to the floor and was still attacking me. A man helped me and hit the dog which released it from my arm but it then lunged at me again and bit my shoulder.

“I was in shock but another man managed to grab the dog from behind and pull it off me. The dog then chased someone else into the petrol station and attacked him on the forecourt.

“I managed to get off the floor at this point and with my sister I ran into the shop to safety. There was a lot of blood pouring from my arm. The staff called the police and the ambulance and I was taken to Heartlands Hospital.”

The terrified girl also admitted that she thought the dog would go for her face and that she was going to die. Saying she felt “petrified,” Ana said she kept screaming and screaming for help during the vicious attack.

“I’m now too frightened to leave home and I’m very wary of dogs,” the girl said.

After the brutal incident, the dog was seized and taken to a vet. The police also revealed that the dog has since been placed in a secured kennel at their dog unit pending the decision whether it will be put down or released.
